WE ARE - DEBORAH MOUREY
Deborah’s distinctive signature in healthcare is her panoramic
perspective of the industry. She has extensive experience
from both the provider and the vendor side and is well-versed in
the distinguishing factors of selling products and services in
for-profit and not-for-profit environments.
Deborah’s cutting-edge knowledge of social media marketing,
including implementation of web 2.0 and social engagement, makes
her expertise in strategy development, customer retention and branding
invaluable and highly desirable in creating new levels of relationships
among customers, patients, families, physicians and other key constituencies.
Deborah served as Chief Marketing Officer for a community health
system and as marketing director for a large academic medical center. Her
combined 15 years with Eastman Kodak’s Health Imaging Division
and a national radiology services provider uniquely positions her
to ‘see the way through’ challenges.
While social media is rapidly changing marketing, Deborah’s
expertise in traditional and digital marketing enables her to teach
both strategic marketing and health care marketing at the college
level. With an MLS degree from the State University of New York
and a BA in French and German from University of Massachusetts,
her international experience is in demand.
She has spoken at conferences throughout the U.S. and is a published author of
non-fiction and poetry. Currently serving at the Board Chair for a non profit
organization and volunteering as a member of SCORE (America’s Small Business
counselors administered through the Federal Government ‘s Small Business
Administration) helps her to complete her 360 degree view of organizations. She
lives in Rochester, New York and has two grown children.
