Adele is a leading technology
marketer with deep experience in public relations and product
marketing. She has consolidated more than two decades of relevant
experiences into a process that shows marketers how to think
like their target audiences, including buyers, customers and
sales people. The acclaimed Pragmatic Marketing® seminar,
Effective Product Marketing, has been attended by thousands of
product managers and marketers throughout the world. It is a
roadmap for those who are lost in a list of tactics and want
a way out of the madness. Core to this process is the concept
of a “Buyer Persona”.
In the 90’s Revella served in VP roles at
three technology companies, guiding product management, marketing
and sales teams to achieve leadership positions in untapped markets
and segments. She says that limited budgets and the demands of
immature products and markets forced her to constantly focus on
strategy and measurable outcomes. Her market-driven approach was
also heavily influenced by her tenure at Regis McKenna, the PR
firm that defined technology marketing during the 80’s, plus
five years running her own market research and consulting firm
at the end of that decade.
She and her husband live on an island near Seattle,
WA. Having survived the renovation of their house, they may buy
the puddle-jumper airline they take each time they have to connect
with the rest of the world.
